Edgar Blanco has taken office as deputy secretary general of the Latin American Mining Alliance (ALMA) for Chile. He brings extensive experience in the mining industry, currently serving as general manager of OSER VIM SpA. Blanco served as Chile’s undersecretary of mining, regional governor (intendant) of the Antofagasta Region, and regional ministerial secretary of public works.
