Webinar: New mining legal framework and attracting foreign investment in Brazil

    Publicado em

Join Cescon Barrieu and Hogan Lovells on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 to discuss how the new legal framework for mining in Brazil has designed transparency for the management of mining rights.

This transparency will provide comfort to investors in the Brazilian mining sector by assuring certainty concerning the regulatory and commercial framework for such investments. The framework will allow more flexibility in adjusting mine design, use an internationally accepted standard for defining resources and reserves, and allow mining concessions to be used as a basis for guaranteeing financing. This provides an opportunity to attract more investment in the mining sector.
