MaxMine unveiled MAXI at the Diggers and Dealers Mining Forum, saying it is the first AI assistant built specifically for fleet management systems (FMSs). For desktop and mobile devices, and with a hands-free speech-to-text feature, the app delivers easy access to all data within the MaxMine platform, the supplier said.
MAXI reportedly uses analytics and diagnostics from MaxMine’s Pulse and Impact to identify issues, such as performance gaps or hardware breakdowns. It allows supervisors to use natural language to ask specific operational questions about the current shift. It enables users to record shift notes by voice or text. Everything is documented accurately, with reports auto-generated at the end of each shift, the supplier said.
Future updates will reportedly enable MAXI to push alerts. For example, if unexpectedly hard digging conditions result in queuing problems, MAXI will alert the supervisor of a detected performance gap and can suggest possible solutions that can be implemented immediately, MaxMine said.
