Regency Silver (TSXV:RSMX) Intersects Sulphide-Specularite Breccia in First Hole of 2026 Drill Program at Dios Padre Project

    Publicado em

Regency Silver (TSXV:RSMX) has reported results from the first drill hole completed as part of its 2026 drilling campaign at the Dios Padre project in Sonora, Mexico, where drilling remains ongoing. The program is designed to further evaluate mineralized structures identified in earlier campaigns near the historic Dios Padre silver mine.

The newly completed hole, REG-26-27, intersected multiple zones of sulphide-specularite supported breccia distributed across a broad, non-continuous interval of approximately 250 metres. The hole was drilled roughly 50 metres above a previously completed hole, REG-25-26, and intersected mineralization approximately 100 metres down-dip from the historic mine workings and about 275 metres up-dip from drill hole REG-25-25.

According to the company, REG-26-27 represents the first completed hole of its 2026 drill program. The hole was specifically designed to test mineralization approximately 50 metres above the strongest mineralized intervals encountered in REG-25-26. Regency Silver has indicated that a minimum of four additional holes, each between 500 and 650 metres in length, are planned in the vicinity of REG-25-26. These holes are intended to follow up on previously intersected mineralization and to better define its orientation.

The company stated that analytical results are not yet available for intervals drilled during either the 2025 or 2026 drilling campaigns. As a result, no direct comparison can be made at this time between the potential assay results from REG-26-27 and those from earlier drilling. However, Regency Silver noted that the geology, alteration styles, mineral species, and relative mineral abundance observed in the current intersections appear comparable to those documented in previous holes.

Earlier drilling at Dios Padre has returned several reported intercepts. Hole REG-23-21 yielded 38 metres grading 7.36 grams per tonne gold. Hole REG-22-01 returned 35.8 metres grading 6.84 grams per tonne gold, 0.88% copper, and 21.82 grams per tonne silver. Hole REG-23-14 intersected 29.4 metres grading 6.32 grams per tonne gold. Details of those mineralized intervals and associated assays were previously disclosed in company press releases dated January 8, 2026, February 23, 2023, and November 2, 2023.

Regency Silver reported that geological observations from REG-26-27 include the identification of multiple porphyry dykes associated with sulphide-specularite bearing breccias. These features are interpreted by the company as playing a significant role in the mineralization observed at Dios Padre.

Bruce Bragagnolo, Chief Executive Officer of Regency Silver Corp., stated that the results from REG-26-27 support the company’s geological model for the project, emphasizing the importance of porphyry dykes and associated breccia structures. He noted that ongoing work will focus on systematically mapping and testing these features as drilling continues.
